  • In this curriculum we will talk about wellness, and specifically how nicotine addiction recovery can play an important role in promoting wellness for all people, with a specific focus on mental health consumers. As peer counselors and mental health providers, you can play a very important role in helping and supporting your peers with quitting smoking. Quitting smoking is a consumer right an important part of recovery. As people interested in promoting the health and wellness of mental health consumers, we can work together to help those with mental illness quit smoking so that we can all lead long, healthy, and meaningful lives.
